Today on TWiP Apps… The company that’s been building things in HDR since before HDR was a thing shows us Photomatix Pro, OneShot and a brand new iOS app. The post TWiP Apps 17: Photomatix; HDR for the Ages appeared first on This Week in Photo.
TWiP Apps 17:Â Photomatix
HDR, or High Dynamic Range photography, has been around for longer than you may realize — largely thanks to the engineering minds at HDRsoft. Before HDR evolved to what it is today, it started as simply tone mapping, and the generating of 32-bit images in Photoshop. Today it’s used for everything from landscapes to real estate… can be fantastical or practical… and can make the impossible, real. The results are your dreams… and the software is Photomatix.
