Andrew Huang is a Toronto-based new media artist whose work is a distillation of his passions for music, video, and audience participation. A versatile and prolific musician, he has released over 2,000 songs in a massive range of genres. His collaborative work has been equally eclectic: Creating an interactive sonic art installation under the mentorship of Emily Haines (Metric); composing the World Wildlife Fund’s official Earth Hour anthem; and producing numerous viral hits with YouTube sensations such as Rhett & Link, Hannah Hart (My Drunk Kitchen) and Boyinaband. He is perhaps best known for his Song Challenge video series which invites viewers to dare him in feats of musicianship - he has performed a five-language rap song, covered "99 Red Balloons" using only sounds made with red balloons, and even made a beat using a thousand pairs of pants.
