Just weeks after the University of North Carolina at Greensboro announced it was cutting its wrestling program to cut costs, head coach Jason Loukides remained busy. In the past month, UNCG wrestlers representing Y.E.S. Wrestling have competed -- and placed -- at the USA Wrestling U.S. Open, FILA Junior Nationals and University Nationals. Jason Bryant talks with Loukides, a 2001 U.S. World Team member in Greco-Roman, about his plans with the club, where the program at UNCG stands, and what the future will bring with Y.E.S. Wrestling and the athletes who wrestled in Greensboro.
