Radio Free Rescue   /     Interview Panel: "Mothers For Others"

Summary

Mothers are remarkable, and the three women we will interview for a special episode of Radio Free Rescue are no exception. They balance the demands of motherhood and work with their commitment to animal rescue and protection, juggling the needs of their children and significant others with their work as activists, lobbyists, and nonprofit leaders.  ANNA CLARK. Anna is the president of EarthPeople, a sustainability communications firm that helps organizations profit from branding, engagement, corporate social responsibility, and public relations strategies. She's also the author of Green, American Style: Becoming Earth-Friendly and Reaping the Benefits. Anna writes and speaks on sustainability and cultural change and contributes her voice as an opinion journalist to the Guardian, USA Today, The Christian Science Monitor, and many more.  ALEX LOUISE DORER. A previous guest on Radio Free Rescue, Alex is one of the co-founders and board members of Fins and Fluke, an organization dedicated to educating local communities about ocean conservation. She recently visited Marineland Canada to investigate the treatment of captured beluga whales in that facility. CHASITY REED. Chasity is the Dallas chapter coordinator of  Sea Shepherd, the international marine wildlife conservation organization made famous by the Animal Planet program Whale Wars. Chasity served as a Cove Guardian in Taiji, Japan, in February 2012, to mointor and report on the brutal killings of dolphins there.
