Then later in October as the Buffs prepared for training camp, Head Coach Tad Boyle said, "I think this has the makings of a top-25 basketball team. I really do. Talent-wise, experience-wise. Hopefully in the seventh year of your program the pipeline is full and recruiting has gone well." Well, three months later the Colorado Buffaloes (10-9, 0-6) are off to the program's worst start to conference play in 24 years.
