It's My Boat!   /     Love on the Rocks

Summary

You know the feeling: Your heart beats a little faster, you can't stop thinking about when you'll be together again, and you neglect friends and family for that special time with your loved one. And then one day you start to think, "Can't this relationship ever be easy? Do I always have to be the one doing the heavy lifting? When is it my turn to be pampered?" And besides that, it's just not the same anymore. The maintenance costs are rising and too many parts need to be replaced. Parts? Maintenance? Wait a minute! What are we talking about here?  Ah, love on on the rocks. What happens when that first glow of boat-ownership wears off?  But we're also going to hear from author Robin Coles about how boating can impact your real-life relationship, too. She's interviewed hundreds of people about how romantic, and not-so-romantic, behavior changes on the water and she'll clue us in on what she's learned. Barbara Jean will report on the Nelson Marine auction in Alameda, California, with her observations on how so many once-loved boats ended up at the end of the line. Will they find new life, or go to salvage?  The gals at Half Way Harbor are still trying to figure out drogues for kayaks, and we'll hear a little bit more about falling in love, this time with Stand Up Paddle Boards.
