I hear all too often the question "What does Africa& Black history have to do with what we do today?" I always hesitate.How do you explain a process to someone who believes they live in a bubble only affected by what happens today?I explain that I have a scar over my right eye because a guy sucker punched me one day as I was walking home from school. Baltimore youth rioted because another black man was paralyzed and died while in police custody for the second time. Pastor Jamal Bryant brought the Bloods and the Crips together this past Sunday with the Nation of Islam and a Christian Church in peace to address  and create a plan to overcome the systemic issue of  domestic violence on the black male. Did Fox, NBC, ABC or CBS report that breaking news? NO!
