Pass & Move The Liverpool FC Podcast   /     Episode 29 - Mo'ny Mony, Tony & The Tea Street Band

Description

Episode TWENTY NINE of the Pass & Move Podcast is now available: Mo'ny Mony, Tony & The Tea Street Band This week Nasher and Mark are joined in the studio by our old friend and fellow Red, Tony Evans. Tony talks to us about his new book 'Two Tribes', his story of the 1985/86 season when Merseyside ruled on and off the pitch. However, it's not just a book about football. This volume takes us back to a time when Thatcherism had taken its toll on Liverpool as a city and the story serves as a poignant reminder of how football and music brought the people together and created a sense of unity between the clubs. We also PREVIEW the games against MAN CITY & EVERTON with Tony, who gives us a frank assessment on them and the season so far. 'Seven Days' sees us taking a look at the game aginst Palace as we try and find new superlatives to describe Mr Salah and the season he's having. This week MUSIC comes from the Tea Street Band. They play us two tracks from their new ablum (Feel it & Fiesta) and lead singer, Timo Tierney, reminds Nasher about the time he sat on his shoulders as a lad - oh and we talk about his love of the Reds and how that started. We'd love to hear from you, so please follow us and get involved on the links below. Find Us On Facebook: www.facebook.com/groups/passandmovepodcast/ Follow Us On Twitter: twitter.com/PassAndMovePod
