Salas then went on to wrestle for the University of Wyoming's NCAA Division I program from 2000 to 2003, but dropped out of college to pursue a career in mixed martial arts. Salas made his UFC debut in Feb 2012 and will next be facing Joe Proctor (9-2) on July 16th in Atlantic City, NJ. They will also recap all the events that went down during MMA weekend.
