As women, we don't talk about rape. We deny what happens to us, we blame ourselves, we shove it under the rug, we bury our feelings. Rape is a horrible thing. It is one of the worst boundary violations known to humankind, and the victim is often left with substantial psychological damage that can take months, years or even a lifetime to repair. No one, absolutely no one deserves rape. No matter what safety measures they did or did not take. No matter where they walked, how they dressed, no one deserves that personal invasion against their will. Are you a rape victim or survivor? Join me and my special guests (rape survivors) as they share their experiences about being raped and how they moved on. This will be a time of venting and inner healing.
