Join me on the next episode, as I have the honor to interview an amazing man within the running community, BART YASSO. Bart is an accomplished runner, having run races on all 7 continents. He has finished the Badwater Ultramarathon through Death Valley, and won the Smokey Mountain Marathon in 1998. Bart joined Runner's World magazine in 1987, and has been working there ever since. Bart is the man who developed the groundbreaking Race Sponsorship Program within the company. Bart has also developed a system for determining marathon run times, called "Yasso 800's". Bart is also a Race Director, and has even designed his own race course. That course is labeled as one of the fastest marathons in the Country, "The Lehigh Valley Health Network Via Marathon". Bart is also aa motivational speaker, and an author, having written a book called "My Life on the Run: The Wit, Wisdom, and Insights of a road racing icon". Despite all of the amazing things that Bart has accomplished, he will tell you that meeting THOUSANDS of runners all over the planet, is what makes him happy.
