Shownotes

It took a fork lift manufacturer to develop America’s first front wheel drive motorhome.

Host Al Hesselbart shows us a 1964  Clark Cortez, a product of the Clark Equipment Co., which at the time, was America’s leading manufacturer of fork lift vehicles and introduced this as the first front wheel drive RV. Although short lived, Clark RV’s left the market in the early 70’s, when most RV manufacturers were not having much success. Their focus was on the equipment distribution. The inside of this unit has some unique features inside as many of them are influenced by bus and airplane interiors.
