"I think about Vietnam every day." Many veterans will say the same thing about their time as a soldier. In this oral history, we hear from five veterans, all African-Americans, who fought in Vietnam early on. They were interviewed by the journalist Wallace Terry for his book Bloods: An Oral History of the Vietnam War by Black Veterans. Music. Also in this episode: from swords to ploughsares.
