My guest today has a diverse background in broadcast journalism, professional modeling, advertising sales, wedding sneaker designing, and associate publishing. In 2006 she was diagnosed with Terminal Brain Cancer. She was a paralyzed, single un-insured mother of two. Tragically, she lost her father in a car crash after he had just dropped off her and her kids at home. This all happened in a timeframe she calls, “90 Days that changed my life forever”. She is President and Co-Founder of the Connecticut Brain Tumor Alliance and an 8 1/2 year Brain Cancer Survivor/Thriver! She is a very public figure in the Medicinal Cannabis movement and sits on the Board of Directors of PharmaFarm/Vintage Foods, one of the world’s leading Medicinal Cannabis Research and Development Companies. She is a Civilian Adviser to the P4OH (Patriots For Our Heroes) program, which is providing aid, support and leadership to the United States Military Veteran’s PTSD/TBI population.
