Listening to the ongoing Democratic debates, primary and caucuses the term bleeding heart liberal popped into my head. Now gardening is NOT a political activity, nor should it be. The garden bleeding heart is such a wonderful and sophisticated flower in all its varieties and species. But is there a garden plant that might better describe liberals, or conservatives, or even independents? Callers gave some good ones...listen as see if you don't agree.
