During a cold day outside of Sapporo, Japan, Dr. Nittler and I sat down in my hotel room during the Solar System Symposium in Sapporo to discuss his research on presolar grains, his participation in several space missions, and live in general. Dr. Nittler is also passionate about many issues in life and is an accomplishment musician and composer! His caring nature for so much in life is something I truly admire. His concern for the future of cosmochemistry is echoed by me and I thank you for sharing his thoughts on the subject. It was a great honor for me to talk with him and I really appreciate his willingness to come on my podcast. I have enormous respect for him and his work. It has taken me a while to post the interview because the pandemic hit and, well, life changed in so many way. We both, independently, flew home after the symposium and, as of September of 2020, I have yet to get back on an airplane, something I very much miss. Thank you, Larry, and to you and your family, please be well!
