Lifelong learner and educator, Dr. Molly McCabe, shares how the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework and guiding principles ensure that we strive to remove barriers for all learners, always obtain student and family feedback, and create expert learners. Dr. Molly McCabe is Director of Instructional Services at the Riverside County Office of Education (RCOE) and is a professor at Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology. Note: This interview was recorded in early December of 2020 while California was still under a stay at home order due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In the time between the recording and release of this episode, the stay at home order was lifted and many school districts' opening plans, including those of CNUSD, were changed.
