Leeds Citizens is a partner organisation of LCI, utilising community organising to work for the common good of the city. LCI and Leeds Citizens work together to encourage theological reflection and learning on the big social issues faced by Leeds communities and, as part of this work, are encouraging reflection, storytelling and learning on the issue of racism.
In this episode, Leeds Citizens community organiser Becky discusses racism and the church in Leeds with three young adults from South Leeds: Betty Abate, Benji and Judah Chandra. Betty, Benji and Judah share their own personal stories and journeys on the issue and ideas for positive action churches and the people within them can take.
