The above image is from the day I arrived in Japan, 23 June 2021, and after a flight from Philadelphia to Chicago, the Chicago to Tokyo, plus about 8 checkpoints and ~3 hours in the airport and a 40 minute drive via a car service (no public transportation due to the need for me to self-quarantine), I arrived at my apartment and was greeted by these wonderful friends and hosts.
