Research@Intel 2013: Reading labels at the supermarket has become a major activity for many people who are trying to eat better or cut down on things like salt or sugar. In this demo, Tom Birch, Intel IT Program Manager, shows how a personalized shopping experience enabled by the cloud and a smartphone can give users the capability to simply walk down an aisle and identify products they want are or trying to avoid. And the experience extends to other settings such as a car parts store.
