He is a widely recognized and respected wildlife journalist, lecturer, and field researcher. A lifelong outdoorsman and naturalist, Moore has launched several zoological expeditions, ranging from the wilds of Canada to the Louisiana Bayou to jungles South America, in search of such elusive beasts as the Ivory-Billed Woodpecker and the Hairy-Hominid known colloquially as Bigfoot. He hosts his own weekly syndicated radio show called Chester Moore Outdoors on Newstalk AM 560 KLVI and he has also appeared in many documentaries including Southern Fried Bigfoot. Currently Chester runs the Kingdom Zoo Education Center and has actively researched red wolves, mystery cats, giant catfish, the ivory-billed woodpecker, and giant hogs.
