Jenna Dziki is a third year doctoral candidate within the Bioengineering Department at the University of Pittsburgh under the advisement of Dr. Stephen Badylak. Jenna has co-authored over 20 publications to date and is a recipient of a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship as well as the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society (TERMIS) Mary Ann Libert Inc. Outstanding Student Award for 2016. Jenna's research interests include investigating the use of biologic scaffolds for skeletal muscle and gastrointestinal repair applications as well as the ability of these scaffold materials to modulate the host innate immune response. Her long term focus is to promote expedited translation of lab-developed technologies to the clinic. Jenna graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 2014.
