Shownotes

The NBA Playoffs are here. The Boston Celtics finished as the #2 seed in the Eastern Conference and for the 2nd year in a row will play in the 1st round the #7 seeded Brooklyn Nets. The Celtics of course will likely go throughout the entire series without the services of Robert Williams. Meanwhile the Brooklyn Nets reprts say could get the services of Ben Simmons for this matchup but that is still to be determined. The Celtics took the season series 3 games to 1. Of course throughout the regular season the Brooklyn Nets were hindered by the Covid-19 Restrictions that the City of New York had in place which prevented All-Star PG Kyrie Irving from playing in home games. Those restrictions have since been lifted and he will be able to play all games in this series. The winner of this series will take on the winner of the Milwaukee Bucks and the Chicago Bulls. Many Celtics fans seemed to want this matchup despite the fact it was arguably the hardest matchup of all 3 matchups the Celtics could end up with in round 1. So we will discuss and breakdown this matchup between the Celtics and Nets. We will discuss if fans made the right decision in wanting the Nets in round 1 rather then wanting the Chicago Bulls or Toronto Raptors. Also what happens if the Celtics lose this series to the Nets are fans seriously gonna try to justify the loss by saying Timelord was around so it doesnt mean nothing and would they be right or is there no excuse for losing in round 1 despite the fact its against the Nets. We will be joined by Bobby Krivitsky (@BobbyKrivitsky on twitter) NBA Reporter for Basketball Insiders
