These are super cute plus they are a lot of fun for kids and adults alike. These look like a real egg hatching except the outer egg does not shatter like a real egg would. When they are fully hatched you get a cute toy that you can dry overnight and then give to your child to play with. These eggs would make a great educational toy to explain to a child how a chick hatches from an egg - just be aware you might get a bunny or a duck. The boxes also show a frog but the description does not. Mine came in three separate boxes instead of the one shown in the display. This was ok with me because it made them easier to share. These are great for Easter Baskets too or use them for an egg hunt and let the lucky child who finds these eggs watch them hatch.
