mixed by: Arian 911 Ibiza (Spain) finca am / OMMS Ibiza short bio: Arian 911 owes his dj name to the American emergency call number 911, as it had become a recurring theme to be called if a party or event-line needed fresh input – he was the man to be called in an emergency. One prominent example for this quality took place in 2009 when he was contacted by Space / Ibiza to help with the programming of the club’s new night Kehakuma. Arian 911 got inspired in the late 80s to investigate in the fields of music production and his first idea, a fusion of Native American chant and electronic beats became the first release of Sven Väth´s legendary Eye Q label in 1990 (Sunchild feat. Joanne Shenandoah “Nature Dance”). Due to the big success of his first record he decided to build himself a base with a studio on Ibiza in 1993. In 1995 he founded Ibiza´s first record label Open Mind Music (later on O.M.M. Sounds).
