Mixed by Daniel Mehlhart Frankfurt a.M. (Germany) Notes / WIR Biography: Swiss born Daniel Mehlhart , living in Frankfurt /Main is releasing music since early 2006. He left his marks on labels like Karmarouge, Get Physical, Kindisch, WIR, and many more In 2011 Daniel founded his own imprint called "notes" and he also started to play live gigs. Daniel Mehlhart was born in Basel, Switzerland in 1986 but was raised in the suburbs of Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Fascinated by the energy of electronic music, he bought his first turntables at the age of 16 and began djing. These days Daniel Mehlhart is busy with producing. His releases feature already on labels such as Get Physical, Kamarouge and Kindisch. Most recently he released on WIR, Movida Recordings and on Gabriel Ananda´s new Imprint, Basmati. In 2011 he launched his own vinyl & digital label, “notes” which includes releases from Gabriel Ananda, Matt Star and naturally from Daniel as well. Daniel loves to seduce the party crowd, make you dream, dance and fall in love with his productions and DJ sets. Warm deep rolling basslines with finely arranged melodies are key to Daniel´s style and sound, this can best described as timeless and rare to find in most artists today. Daniel is mainly spinning Minimal and Tech house tracks but also likes to spin some deeper, funkier house tunes.
