Shownotes

The Detroit Lions emerged victorious over the Houston Texans on Sunday night at NRG Stadium, clinching a thrilling 26-23 win that maintains their perfect road record this season. Jared Goff, despite throwing five interceptions, delivered two crucial touchdown passes, one to Sam LaPorta and another to Amon-Ra St. Brown, to keep the Lions in contention. Jahmyr Gibbs led the ground game with 71 rushing yards, while David Montgomery's third-quarter touchdown narrowed the gap. Pivotal defensive plays, including two interceptions by Carlton Davis III, bolstered Detroit’s comeback. The game reached a dramatic conclusion as Jake Bates nailed a 52-yard field goal with time expiring, securing the Lions' eighth win of the season and extending their unbeaten streak away from home.
