The Sixers were again without the former MVP Joel Embiid who will also miss at least one more consecutive game as he is dealing with left knee swelling.

In Embiid’s absence, Tyrese Maxey dropped 26 points while Jared McCain hit the 30-point mark for the second time in his young NBA career. Â

When the Sixers were starting to falter at the end of the third quarter and start of the fourth, Maxey and McCain took over, scoring 19 straight Sixers points. Maxey scored nine in the final quarter while McCain scored 14. In the win, Jared McCain went 6-for-11 from beyond the arch marking the 8th straight game he has hit at least three three-pointers in a game, the longest streak by a rookie in NBA history.Â
