PHLY Sixers Postgame: Great game from KJ Martin leads to the WIN
KJ Martin was the star tonight for the Philadelphia 76ers, finishing the night with a season-high 20 points on 9 for 10 shooting from the field in the Sixers' 102-94 victory. Martin's activity on the offensive end of the floor gave the Sixers a much-needed lift in a low-scoring game. Paul George returned to the lineup for the 76ers and added team-highs of 21 points and nine assists. Philadelphia's backcourt of Tyrese Maxey (16) and Jared McCain (7) had a quiet night offensively but were lifted by the play of their teammates. Guerschon Yabusele equaled Maxey's scoring output with 16, including two huge free throws to extend the Sixers’ lead to six in the final seconds of the game. Kelly Oubre chipped in 13 and nine rebounds, Andre Drummond contributed seven points and a game-high 11 boards. The Magic's Franz Wagner paced all scorers with 30, Jalen Suggs netted 22 in the loss.
