The Bears still struggle to find a way to win a game on the road, marking 20 straight losses away from Soldier Field. In Thomas Brown’s first game as interim head coach, the Bears stumbled out the gate and stayed flat for the rest of the game. Chicago totaled just four net yards of offense in the first half, compared to 319 from the 49ers. Rookie wideout Rome Odunze added two touchdown receptions, but ultimately, the offense stalled out.
