The New Orleans Saints should focus their QB development efforts on Spencer Rattler rather than digging into a dismal 2025 NFL Draft quarterback class. With Penn State's Drew Allar and LSU's Garrett Nussmeier returning to their schools and Alabama's Jalen Milroe expected to do the same, the Saints' realistic options in the 2025 draft are slim at quarterback. So focusing on what they have in Rattler and Jake Haener may be their best bets.
The final two-minute drive showcased great play calling and decision-making by Klint Kubiak, stout run efficiency from Kendre Miller and the offense line and quick-processing by Rattler. Meanwhile Cameron Jordan, Demario Davis, Chase Young and the Saints' defense are figuring out their pass rush since Todd Grantham wan reassigned and eventually left.
