QOTW: Now that the holidays are over, If you could come up with a new holiday tradition using the latest and greatest tech, what would it be and how would it work?

On This Day In History for January 15, 2025
This is the 15th day of the year in the Gregorian calendar. There are 350 days remaining in 2025.

It was on this date in 1759, that The British Museum opened to the public.
207 years ago today, a paper by David Brewster was read to the Royal Society, belatedly announcing his discovery of what we now call the biaxial class of doubly-refracting crystals. On the same day, Augustin-Jean Fresnel signs a “supplement” (submitted four days later) on reflection of polarized light.
It was 136 years ago today that The Coca-Cola Company, then known as the Pemberton Medicine Company, was incorporated in Atlanta.
James Naismith published the rules of basketball on this date in 1892.
Also today in 1910, Construction ended on the Buffalo Bill Dam in Wyoming, United States, which was the highest dam in the world at the time, at 99 m (325 ft).
January 15, 1919, a wave of molasses released from an exploding storage tank sweeps through Boston, Massachusetts, killing 21 and injuring 150 – it was known as the Great Molasses Flood.
On January 15, 1936, the first building to be completely covered in glass finished construction. It was built for the Owens-Illinois Glass Company in Toledo, Ohio.
January 15, 1967, The first Super Bowl was played in Los Angeles. The Green Bay Packers defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 35 -10.
Also on January 15, 1969, the Soviet Union launched Soyuz 5.
We jump ahead to 2001, Wikipedia, a free wiki content encyclopedia, was launched on January 15. Happy Wikipedia Day.
January 15, 2005, ESA’s SMART-1 lunar orbiter discovered elements such as calcium, aluminum, silicon, iron, and other surface elements on the Moon.
