So the poor guy's been in some kind of accident and broken a lot of bones because he's in traction, those wires that you see holding up his limbs. There must have been some serious complications because the doctor tells the nurse that he will have to amputate, or cut off the guys left leg and arm. The guy's left side will be gone leaving only his right side or as the doctor says, he'll be all right. But "all right" also means that he's healthy and recovered. So if the guy's family wants to know if he'll be all right, the doctor can say, "absolutely".
